I knew the guy for many years. I am 25 now, but we dated in high school and were very close friends at the same time. About 4-5 years ago he moved away so we gradually lost touch, and I think he found a new gf. So…after 5 years or so, I found him on facebook last week, and it turns out that he was looking for me too, but could not find me because I was not on facebook when he was looking for me. So we called up each other, he said that he remembered me frequently, so did I. So we met up after a week of talking on the phone and exchanging text messages. He’s a manager in a restaurant, so he invited me to his nightclub/restaurant late evening last weekend. The restaurant was packed, and he introduced me to his friends and co-workers WHILE holding my hand the whole time. He kept hugging me and kissing my neck a lot. He was very touchy and you could tell that he missed me and was happy to have me there! The plan was that I would stay overnight in the city which was an hour away from mine, so we did stay together in a hotel that ngiht. We also made love, and he told me that he missed me. The next day we got up, went to get sushi. Later in the afternoon I had to see my friend who lived in the same city, so we departed. That day we didn’t talk to each other on the phone after separating, but the next day very late at 1-2am I get a text message from him asking me if I was asleep (i guess he wanted to call up so he was checking?!), so I said that I was not asleep BUT in bed already. Se he wrote back saying “stop thinking of me” (jokingly!), so intentionally I wrote back saying “you wrote me so you’re thinking of me!” So that was it for that evening….I didn’t call him as I was already in bed. The next day around 1-2am, I did not hear from him the next day so I sent him a text saying “Miauu…” he wrote back saying “grrrr”, I wrote back saying “kiss my ***” (jokingly) he wrote back saying “that could be arranged” jokingly. THAT WAS IT!!!!!
I have not heard from him for about 4-5 days now after those text messages and that one time seeing him after so many years. Did I say something wrong to him? When we saw each other, he said that he will come to my area in 2 weeks because next week he has guests over so the week after will be alright for him. BUT why isn’t he calling at all or at least sending text mesages? We had such a great time, and we knew each other for a long time so I know he cares for me and it’s not like we were strangers. I think I might have pissed him off by saying in a text massge that “you wrote the text message, so you’re thinking of me instead!” when he wrote me after a day when we met up asking if I was asleep…is that a good enough reason to piss of a guy? Does it mean that he’s intentionally not contacting since I said that just to show me ‘see, i’m not thinking of you’ and he’s waiting me to call him up??? Well, I haven’t called him. BTW…everyone that he would introcuce me to, kept complimenting him in front of me. Twice even his co-workers came up to me to say what a great guy he is. He kept walking around holding my hand and kept kissing me and giving me hugs, so I simply don’t know why he wouldn’t call…although he did contact me by text message after that day we met up last weekend, by asking me if i was asleep yet’ I think he wanted to call? Also, if he wasn’t going to call at all, then why send me a text message the day after we met to see if i was asleep? I’m really confused, please help. Did my big mouth piss him off, although I was joking like he was and I can’t seem to think that what I said was a big deal…i was obviously joking! Our little reunion was very nice and he’s not an asshole like that to completely stop our contact like that because he’s a great guy, very nice, and he’s been attentive towards me back in high school. I even though maybe he’s trying to play hard to get now…just to see if I am itnerested in him or not like before? Maybe he wants to know how much i want him so he’s not calling me for 5 dyas now to see how much I will call?
Even in bed, he asked me twice if i enjoyed it, and he said that he enjoyed me (sorry for the detail, but maybe this helps), so even in that department everything was great!
PLEASE help me understand what’s up? Should I call him as a female after 5 days of not hearding form him? I’m taditional..I prefer a guy calling me, so I don’t want to seem desparate callign him after not hearing from him, although a friend tells me that I can call and see where he’s been? I’m embarrassed to do it though…i care about my pride and maybe he’s too proud too? HELP!
Oh and he also todl me to bring my parents to his restaurant in the future, and he told me to say hello to them as well.

i know you guys miss each other but think about this your relationship is based on a high school crush and you both are now living your lives. i just think you both are rushing into something that you both need to just take it slow and give it some time
