I am not at all comfortable with my fiance’s plans for a bachelor party. He and his 3 friends (2 are single, 1 is a cheater; married guys weren’t invited interestingly) plan to go into the city and get a hotel for the night after bar hopping. One of his friends let the S word (stripper) slip and everyone knows the city is full of strip clubs. I don’t want him going to a strip club let alone getting a hotel room for the night vs coming home where I know he’s behaving. Is that wrong of me? I have trust issues after learning he was hanging out with a girl that worked at a strip club even though I told him I wasn’t comfortable with their friendship and he told me he wasn’t hanging out with her. He barely goes out anymore since I busted him a year ago so I know he’s been good. But this bachelor party stuff just brings up those fears again. If he lied about who he was hanging out with then what won’t he lie about?? Right?

Your fiance is an adult who is free to make his own choices. You can’t control what he does, only he can. You have control over the quality of man you choose to marry. If you have trust issues and don’t agree with his plans for his bachelor party, then the 2 of you probably aren’t a good match. This is something the 2 of you need to work through BEFORE the wedding.
