I know I may be starting some controversy here but my friend brought up a point.
I am a 37 year old woman and have seen it all. I am appalled on how women manipulate the system when it comes to domestic violence. We all know that it’s not right for a man to hit a woman. Well the same should go for the woman hitting a man. I have seen a good male friend of mine get attacked with a bat in his sleep, get slapped, spit on, and the list goes on and on. Not once did he put a hand on the woman. Where does a man draw the line? Years ago another male friend of mine who is a bouncer in a New York city night club gets a knife pulled out on him by a woman. Well he happened to push her very hard where she obviously lost her footing and fell. I talked to him a few minutes ago and he said that if a woman is going to act like a man, then she should be treated as such. If any woman is going to pull out a weapon with the intent to do harm to the man, then yes, by all means necessary do what needs to be done even if it means you have to be physical. Why is it ok for a woman to slap, hit, scratch, bite, punch a man, etc, yet when a man barely touches her, HE’S the one that goes to jail? Yes, they say to walk away, but not all circumstances will allow a man to just WALK away.
I happen to agree with what my friend said.

its ok for a man to hit a woman or use force in self defense or if its the only way of stopping the woman from hurting another person. Men and women are really not that different.
